Dog Behaviour Consultation

When behaviour becomes worrying or overwhelming

Many dog owners reach out when they feel confused, tired, or unsure what to do next. This can show up in many different ways.

Understand your dog's behaviour

When I work with you and your dog, I look 'behind' the symptoms and at the cause.

The cause is always the same no matter the struggle or behaviour. That's why I can help you create more clarity in the communication between you and your dog.

For example, when a dog:

  • barks excessively inside and/or outside

  • pulls on the leash

  • is afraid of fireworks or loud sounds

  • jumps at you, guests, or people on the street

  • seems low, shut down, or depressed

  • struggles with being alone (separation anxiety)

  • has trouble around other dogs (reactive behaviour)

  • doesn’t want to go on walks

  • hides in the house

All behaviours have something in common
Many dog owners reach out when they feel confused, tired, or unsure what to do next.

These behaviours may look very different, but they often share something in common:

they come from the same underlying cause — a lack of clarity, safety, responsibility, and confusion.

How I work with you and your dog

I work by listening — to the dog and to you. I already know what is going on seen through your dog’s eyes.

I don’t offer quick fixes.

Instead, I help you understand:

  • what your dog may be reacting to

  • how the behaviour has developed over time

  • what patterns are present

  • how your own responses influence the situation

When understanding changes, behaviour can change too.

My role is to help you see the situation more clearly, so you’re no longer guessing, reacting automatically, or trying random solutions.

The 30-minute dog consultation

This is a paid 30-minute online consultation where we focus on understanding your dog’s behaviour and your specific situation.

The consultation is a space for you to:

  • explain what is happening

  • feel heard and understood

  • gain clarity about the behaviour

  • understand what kind of support may be helpful

It’s not about fixing everything in one call. It’s about creating a clear and calm starting point.

What happens after the consultation

After the call, most dog owners feel:

  • calmer and more grounded

  • clearer about what is going on

  • less alone with the problem

  • more confident about what to do next

If it feels right, I may recommend:

  • starting with one of my courses

  • booking further sessions

  • or simply taking time to reflect

There is no obligation to continue.

Is this right for you?

This consultation is for you if:

  • your dog’s behaviour feels stressful or worrying

  • you’ve tried many approaches without clarity

  • you want understanding before action

  • you value calm, respectful guidance

You don’t need to have the answers before the call. That’s something we explore together.
